Yahoo redirects to Verizon and I am locked out

I have reached out to the Yahoo "customer service" boards and no one is responding. I am locked out of my yahoo account. Everytime I try to recover the account and change my password it takes me to Verizon.com. I'm at wits end. How can I gain access to my Yahoo email account. Please assist.
