I have reported a badly damaged Verizon utility pole several times over the last month and have had nothing done to fix the issue. The cables are saging so low that school kids are hanging from them, not to mention that the pole is completely severed at the ground level and its hanging over a busy intersection. the last ticket that was issued to resolve this is now closed. The pole is located at the intersection of Franklin Manor Blvd and Deale-Churchton Rd, Churchton MD 20733.
This is mainly a peer to peer support forum.
Couple of things:
1) Does pole have a Verizon or Bell Atlantic metal plate on it? If not, metal plate would show who is reponsible (could be electric company for example).
2) If it is Verizon, try contacting the MD Public Service Commission. Probably best to have the pole number from the metal plate.
BGE went out and verified that it is a Verizon pole
ill try to reach out to the MD service, thanks for the help
