filing for BK what happens once filed?

I have two account one past due and this one wich is not included in the case. So once the court sedn over the filing to verizon do they wipe out my old account also will I be able to make changes to my current never past due account like will the restriction from order review team remove it for good.

Will this account even though not on my case be closed and if so can I re-sign up?
