I researched these forums and have found various threads of folks complaining about the verizon installer refusing different installation areas.
I have ordered verizon FIOS TV / Internet package, and on the back of the house (brick) next to the crawl space door is where the comcast cable box resides. I was hoping to have whatever equipment verizon needs to install, installed just inside the crawl space next to the door - there's about a 3' to 3.5' height crawl space and i have a receptacle just inside there.
Will Verizon have an issue installing there?
Doubtful. But it doesn't hurt to ask tech when he shows up.
How will they run fiber in to crawlspace?
i've got hammer drill that will run up to 1 & 1/2" bit to drill the hole if he doesn't - it should be the most convenient of any location - if he wants to go into basement, he'll have to go thru the crawl space anyway,
I'll keep a $10 bill handy
