ID.me not working for active duty

Hello, I am trying to validate my active duty status on the ID.me/verizon website but it is giving me the following errors:

Enter a valid first name (When I am in fact entering my real first name)

and Max attempts reached. 

I would like to take advantage of my military discount but the website is not working.
