I can't load any web page nor send any email from my iMac. I can receive emails. My iPad and Samsung Note II can load any web page and send and receive emails. It's not a router problem. I received a message from Verizon to change my email settings but the requested change on outgoing is not accepted (smtp prefix). Does this affect web access? What do I do now --I rely on my iMac for everything. Thanks, Jerry

I'm having the same issue with email and I've called Verizon support with no success. The person I spoke to was nice, but was clearly just someone reading instructions about resetting preferences, not someone with the knowledge necessary to resolve the issue. When the issue remained unresolved, she actually told me to contact Apple, stating that this was an Apple issue (!).
