Restore email alias

I need Verizon to restore my email alias, which was accidentally deleted (and done so with no safeguards). I reported the problem to Verizon Technical Support immediately, but four full days have passed, and the situation has not yet been resolved. In fact, every time I call technical support, I get different information. And I've never received that promised phone call back from the person who is working on the open ticket.

Has anyone experienced this situation? What is the result? A cursory search of the Verizon Community indicates it is possible to have an alias restored. Thanks!

I'm sorry you are having difficulty. An agent with access to your account will reach out to you directly by email, private message in the Forums and/or the billing telephone number on your Verizon account for more information or to help you resolve your issue.

I hope to hear from a Verizon representative very soon--telephone is the best method to reach me at this point.

It's been four days since the alias disappeared, which means hundreds of emails I have not received. Verizon Technical Support by telephone haven't been able to help, and they give different, often conflicting information--as one might expect, since they're not the ones who have the knowledge and power regarding the situation.

I started having this issue two days ago using Chrome (16) and wiindows (vista). Don't have the issue on the laptop running W7.

while typing this I opened another Chrome window to try to log on and to my suprise I was already logged on! Not sure if these clues will help but wanted to share.

my laptop is now stricken with this issue. 

Here's another clue....I had to log on to enter this post and now I can get to my emails! Something is wrong with their new log on box.
