Starting between Monday and Tuesday of last week, I was unable to send email through smtp.verizon.net. Turns out Verizon is blocking outgoing messages with a url with 'x10' in them.
For the record, x10hosting.com is not the same company as x10.com. I don't know of any systematic complaints against x10hosting.
I only went with a free hosting provider after Verizon cut off ftp access to the web page hosting Verizon provides, which with I'd been happy for years.

Have you forwarded the message(s) to spamdetector.update@verizon.net for review?
If you've narrowed down the cause of the block to that specific url, maybe in the meantime you could use a URL shortner like http://goo.gl/ as a workaround?
