Just got 2 new Pixel 2 XL phones from Verizon. On some conversastions (not all conversations), all of the pictures in the old conversation have disappeared. As soon as we received the new phones, a meassage asked us to update to Android 9 Pie. Please advise how to get these pictures back! Thanks

are you using the default messaging app or 3rd party?
unless pics are backed up in a cloud somewhere, or have been deleted from thegallery, they're gone.

I meant to say in some of our Message+ text conversations, pictures have disappeared.

Other old text conversations still have pictures, but only a few of our contacts (same contacts on both phones) do not have the pictures in the conversation any more, only text!

Our thought was that when we transferred our old phones to these new ones, it was possible that only a couple of contacts' pictures did not transfer.

We know how important it is to make sure you don't lose your photos. Do the pictures show as deleted in the stock texting application as well? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Message +? Keep us posted. We're here to help! BreannaH_VZW
