Pixel5 rollback to Android 11 - OEM Unlock Pre-Paid after 60d?

Hi, I'm sure this has been asked many times before but I unfortunately couldn't find specifics so I'd like to get some clarification if possible.

I recently updated my Verizon Locked Pixel 5 to Android 12, however, I was not aware that multiple apps I use for work, and an app I use to fly my quadcopter are not compatible with Android 12 (and seemingly have no plans to create versions compatible). I wish I had done research prior, but I didn't. Now I have a $500 drone I can't fly, and keep experiencing missed notifications and data parsing errors for work-related apps.

I went looking on how to downgrade from Android 12 back to Android 11 to fix these issues but discovered that the device OEM Unlock is disabled. Is there ANY way I can roll back to Android 11? if I can't, will that option become available for me after 60d of activation? I really need to get back to Android 11! Wish I had never that dang upgrade button 😞

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, NiftiestPixel. We understand this feature is important for you. Systematically, we don't have the tools to roll back the software on this device. Also, the network unlock will not correct this issue after the 60 days. Have you contacted the app developer for a second opinion on this situation?

@NiftiestPixel

The unlock that occurs after 60 days of activation is the SIM unlock. It isn't the OEM unlock or bootloader unlock.

Verizon Wireless has made a clear policy they will never unlock their phones for user modification of the operating system. If that is something you are interested in, please look elsewhere for how that works. Please bare in mind, your place of employment might also frown on using devices that have modified at the software level creating potential security vulnerabilities for that phone to allowed on your workplace's network.

If the applications are not compatible with the most recent version of the OS, you should reach out to developers of the applications to get them updated.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

They can unlock the OEM, but they won't to the user. They say it's security. While everyone knows, as long as we connect to the network, all personal information is exposed.
