When will Verizon offer RCS?

I have a Google Pixel and would like to send my messages via RCS.  How soon will Verizon start using this?  Sprint has already partnered with Google to use it.  T-Mobile has done the same.  Verizon when will you get on board with this?

We are always here to help TickedoffVerizon. I know how important it is to be able to use all the services and functions of your phone.

I researched this and found that RCS (Rich Communications Services) is currently not available with VZW. At this time we have no information regarding when or if this will become available with VZW.

You can visit http://vz.to/29YbVKi and sign up to receive email updates of any new products or services.

This is hardly a solution or an answer. A solution would be enabling RCS on all devices, not just a couple Samsung and a Pixel. TMobile is out pacing you. I may take advantage of their buy out with my LG V40 and jump. I am tired if being behind in technology and paying more for it.
