I know from experience how much of a nuisance pop-up ads can be. I welcome the opportunity to assist with your inquiry. I'll just need some addition details. Are you getting these ads in your status/notification bar or in your Google Chrome browser? Do they seem to appear when in a certain application or from a certain application. If so, which apps?

If your pop up blocker is enabled, then it can be an app that you installed. This recently happened to my husband's phone. The pop up's were so annoying and it turned out that they were coming from the flashlight app that I installed on his phone so check your apps to see which ones you have installed. That may be the problem.
