History; previous screen

I'm using the Pixel 2 and need info on two topics:

1). Where can I find my recent web history?

2) How do I return to the previous screen from a Google Docs document, which doesn't have the usual back arrow or any other tool for going back?

This is a good question STAMR54. You should be able to see your history following these steps: 

1. Open the Chrome browser app
2. Tap the 3-dot menu button in the upper right
3. Tap History

As for the Google doc question, I'm not sure we are on the same page here. Can you please clarify?
