Pixel 4: Text Internationally on Wifi

I am able to send texts over WiFi while International to both other pixel phones and iPhones. Is there a charge for this? My phone is in airplane mode with WiFi turned on. I am texting to individuals and in group threads. I want to verify I am not being charged and that they aren't being charged.

Text and multimedia messages which are sent or received over Wi-Fi Calling service are always treated as if they were sent or received in the United States, even when you are using Wi-Fi Calling outside of the United States. The same concept goes with phone calls that are made or received through Wi-Fi Calling.
