How do I turn off vibration alert on every text message?
Maybe the post here may help you.
Seems in Oreo, you have to disable it for each and every contact you have?
No manual? Complain to Google!
We do want to make sure that you have all the information you need regarding your alerts, dfair56. I do have a question if you don’t mind. Which messaging app are you using? Are you using the blue Messenger app or the red Verizon Messages Plus app? The link that stef7 posted included information for the blue Messenger app. If you’re looking to turn off the vibrate feature for the red Messages Plus app, you can do so by opening the app > press the 3 lines at the top left > tap on Settings > scroll down and select the vibrate feature you would like.
