I just want to know if I shoot video on my phone, will it use my data ? I have not shot any video on my phone yet.

As long as your not uploading it anywhere why would it? Why would using a video camera use mobile data?

To better understand your needs, what has indicated that your data will be used while recording? What model phone are you using and what do you plan on doing with the videos?
