I am really struggling with connecting my Xbox to my PC for use as a Media Extender.
My Xbox is connected via WiFi. I have verified that it's connected here and not to a neighbor's. My PC (running Windows 7 Ultimate) is connected via ethernet. I have the Actiontec MI424WR Rev I Router running the current firmware.
The Xbox connects to the internet without issue. When I run the Media Center Extender Setup on the PC, it won't find the Xbox.
I also can't see the Xbox in "My Network". The only solution that I have run across is to enable UPnP in the router. Guess what! That setting isn't in the current firmware version.
Does anyone have experience with this problem?

Try to login to your router and then paste this into the url line and execute it, or perhaps being logged in and just using the link will work. Try to disable IGMP filtering

I have an Xbox on Ethernet, and have it configured as a MCE for Ceton InfiniTV tuners.
Not sure about the wireless and streaming. You may not get the bes results.
