It is a pain to have to sort through the VOD selections in the channel guide. Very annoying. Whoever thought it was a good idea to add them was wrong. The CHANNEL GUIDE is a "guide" to what is on the TV "channels", not a billboard for what is available on demand. Try again!

Historically that has been the case.
Moving forward, I think you will see more and more mixing of content types in that view.
You can see experimentation with this on various platforms in the marketplace with respect to VOD, PPV, Advertisements, and so on.
It is probably not realistic to think that we can prevent entirely changes to the guide view over time,
but we hear you that you, and a sizeable segment of our customer community,
think that the guide view is a navigation interface for channels, as opposed to a merchandising platform for content.
I agree, I do not like Verizon including the VOD channels interspersed with the real channels. But then again, I never see the VOD channels, because I use a Favorites list 100% of the time, and I do not have the VOD channels includee in the list. Really a simple solution, why people won't take a few minutes to do it is beyond me. I guess they would rather just complain......

Well I can't use the favorites since my 2 year old son has favorites 1 and my wife has favorites 2! I'm stuck with all these VOD channels popoing up and I have "Recommendations" turned off!!

Buy another TV and put it in the man-cave? (just kidding.....)
Yeah, the limit of two Favorites lists does limit you when more than two people want their own lists on the same TV. My kids are long gone from the house, and so with three TVs for two people it is easy to have a customized Favorites list for each of us. I know that having more than two lists has been asked for, hopefully Verizon will deliver on that.

I have an idea to remove it. Go vote. 46 votes so far, at this moment. But based on the fact that there are about 350 who have voted for BBC America in HD, I don't think we will get that either. I think everything we get must have that marketing $$$$pin on it.

Agree, "The CHANNEL GUIDE is a "guide" to what is on the TV "channels". prisaz's idea to vote on it is great but ,alas, even though BBC America HD has one of the largest vote totals of all time, nothing has even moved in that direction in the last year and a half of requesting it. Draw you own conclusion. You already have my vote for a No VOD TV channel guide and the BBC America HD.
