General availabilty plan for new DVRs

I know, I know, you can't/won't give dates, so I can't ask when this will happen.

I have a 6416, and once IMG 1.9 shows up in Metro DC I'd love to have a second DVR. Will there be an announcement when all new DVRs shipped out for replacements or additions are 7000s or Cisco boxes? I don't want to request a second DVR and have another 6416 show up!

Today you can request a swap for your existing 6416 and get a 7232... go to www.verizon.com/fiostvcentral.  We should almost be done shipping the 6416's... but I am truthfully not sure if we will announce that...

Yeah, I can request a swap...if I want to pay $40, and lose all of the programs currently on my DVR. My plan was to get the new one, start recording everything on the new one, and once I watch everything on the old/existing one, then worry about if I would have to pay the $40 or just keep it. If I'm REALLY lucky, once I have done all of that, the hard drive will die (like it has on the two previous DVRs I've had) and I'll get a new model as the replacement.

May I respectfully request that the end of 6416 shipping be announced somewhere, maybe the forums, and/or be information available to the telephone and chat operators so we can ask?

You can definitely request... I have already put in the inquiry to see how / if we could do something like that...
