Home Monitoring - can't get anywhere

I received my home monitoring kit and started to follow the directions to set it up.  I've run into multiple problems and still have not accomplished getting this set up! 

it begins with the instruction to go to monitoringcontrol.verizon.com - it takes me to https://www22.verizon.com/homecontrol/signin.aspx where I sign in.

Then I see my 3 services including home monitoring control.- this is where I get this error: " Firefox can't find the server at www22idmzsac.verizon.com."   Then I try to use IE but the same login doesn't give me a link for home monitoring under my services.

I just received my first bill for this service and can't even use it - I called customer care but was bounced between the home monitoring customer service and the internet customer service,  I'm ready to cancel.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

Have you cleared your cache on both browsers?

I did just now and I don't have Home Monitoring listed in My Services.
