How do I access the Verizon Wireless Network away from home?

 I have fios and a laptop but I don't know how to log onto the internet when I'm away from home;  How do I access the Verizon wireless network when I'm at my brother's house?  My brother doesn't have wireless connectivity.

If your brother's home is too far form your home(i.e. not next door) then your wireless home network is out of range from your laptop. There is no way to connect to connect to your wireless network away from home if you are outside the range area of your router.

You can find Verizon wireless hotspots using this page. Obviously, you are not going to be able to access the internet wirelessly from your brother's house, but if he has cable or other high speed internet access, you are plug into his broadband router using a network cable.
