Anyone know if 1.9 is out around the Philly area yet? I live in Bucks County PA and want to get the upgrade to start using the option to add a 1tb drive for extra space

Should be very soon.

I called Verizon this morning and was transferred to Tech Support after being told by the features rep that is should be available in my area already. Tech Support said they would try to push it - said if it works, than it's ready. If it doesn't work, than it's not ready yet. IT DIDN'T WORK! I too need the extra DVR capacity.
Month or so away as it seem now.nascar wrote:

I am in the Hatboro/Horsham area. I got an email telling me it was now available...but then after a week it never updated. I called tech Support and they refused to try pushing it. They told me it was "indefinitely held back after discovering more issues". I've been waiting for it for over a year.
Unfortunately things did not go as planned and they were unrelated to 1.9. I figure once the strike is over we should see the resumption of 1.9 roll-outs.

Hard to roll out software when someone is cutting fiber cables, huh?

So it looks like I have spent $40 for a box that gives me the same as I had before??? I hope they don't charge me until I get the upgrade.
Joe since your reply was once the strike is over then VHO8 will get image 1.9. Ok, as of Tuesday 8/23/11 the strike is over, so when is VHO 8 scheduled to get the new image???
