Currently have a Dell desktop hard wired into the router. Desktop is running XP. Also have two laptops with wireless connections on the same network. Laptops do not see the desktop and vice versa. Laptops run Windows 7. Any thoughts?

I believe you have to add the desktop pc into the W7 "home group".

Check to make sure you are on the same WORKGROUP (aka. HOMEGROUP for Win7). Check to make sure sharing is active on desktop. Within XP can you see the laptops using NETWORK NEIGHBORHOOD?
Memory dictates that individual folder sharing needs to be setup on the XP machine. Typically, this is accomplished by RIGHT clicking on the folders and enabling sharing.
