New IMG has smaller font and lighter background - bad combo

The new IMG has a smaller font and the menu and information screens have a lighter background.  This is definitely a poor combination making reading of the screens more difficult.  There should be a way to control the font size and color of these screens (similar to closed captioning options).   Surprising that someone thought this was an improvement.

Minimally, the background on all screens should be made darker to sharpen the text image.
