Does Verizon offer VOIP? I am wondering if it is possible to use my asterisk pbx and setup a trunk with verizon so I am able to use sip instead of using a kludge (Linksys SPA3102) or a Sangoma card to allow for land line to tie in. I hate that total garbage solutions given I use a Nettop for Asterisk with no avaliable PCI slots for a Sangoma card and SPA3102 does not do CID worth a **bleep**.
Thanks

Hi,
Verizon's VoIP Service, Voicewing Shutting Down 3/31/09. If you use asterisk pbx, you can try 3cxphone, a free VoIP phone, it can work with asterisk and popular VoIP providers.
