DOES ANYONE AT VERIZON EVEN CARE ABOUT THE FACT THAT THE GUIDE IS UNREADABLE AND THAT IT IS TOO SMALL FOR TOO MANY PEOPLE? A TELESCOPE IS WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO NEED TO TRY TO READ WHAT CHANNEL IS WHAT ON THE GUIDE WHERE THE LOGOS ARE TOO SMALL, THE DESCRIPTIONS ARE MICROSCOPIC AND THE COLORS MAKE IT EVEN MORE OF AN ISSUE THAN IT ALREADY IS. YOU MUST THINK THAT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS HAS THE VISION OF SUPERMAN WHERE YOUR GUIDE HAS TO BE A JOKE BECAUSE NO SERIOUS COMPANY WOULD DARE TO RELEASE SUCH AN UNUSABLE GUIDE. COMCAST, DIRECT TV, DISH NETWORK, TIVO ALL HAVE GUIDES THAT DO NOT PUT YOU IN A POSITION WHERE YOU FEEL THAT YOU ARE COMPLETELY LOST WHEN YOU TRY TO READ WHAT IS ON THE GUIDE WHEN YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR A CHANNEL. You know, a guide in all caps wouldn't be much better, either.
Not only is it unreadable , the infornation is so retarded that I thought I had my guide "programmed wrong". Example. The title of a show is MLB Major League Baseball.. The "information" under MLB is two names of pitchers for the game, not the teams playing. What kind of human factors is that!???? Any normal person would make sure that first, the teams names were listed, then if "info" is pressed they could show the details like who is pitching. This happens with other sports too. I asked Verizon about this and they told me "that's what they get from their provider". I can't believe that Verizon would accept that. Verizon has to be one of the "providers" biggest consumer so Verizon should be able to request normal features. My friends who have Fios expressed the same bewilderment.
Welcome to verizon fios MD _ Gene. That is something that has been going on for a very long time now where it is a MAJOR issue but it has improved because of the efforts of some people (including me) . It is verizon's guide provider that it at fault but they are not the only ones who are to be blamed as verizon has not made the efforts to try to get a lot of these matters corrected no matter how many times it is brought to their attention. The apathy is stunning with regards to this problem. If you think that the situation is bad now you should have seen it before. From sporting events that are wrongly listed to sporting events not appearing at all to movies that are not the movies that are actually playing the guide with each day that passes continues to have more and more data errors on it. A lot of people have dropped fios tv while keeping the internet and phone bundle where they end up going with direct tv because of the guide data issue where the direct tv guide is not only readable but the data that appears on it is up to date because they have a different guide provider. Not everyone of course has these options because of where they live as verizon has now become the walmart of television providers where they take over entire neighborhoods while not giving their customers everything that they were promised which includes an up to date guide. I can not even begin to tell you how many times i have thought that a certain movie, sporting event, news show, concert or an award show that i had set up to tape i thought would be there after i had set it up to tape only to find that what i thought would be there was not which only added to the frustration that i and a lot of other people who had expected to watch those things have had with the verizon fios guide. They claim to be working on fixing it but with each day that passes problems that have been corrected revert back to what they once were all over again as there seems to be no end in sight to the ongoing data guide problems that affect us all.
I like the new guide as it is alot better to see then the old one to me.

Just something you may want to keep in mind. I'm not a moderator but I consider all caps to be yelling and your post immediately came off that way to me just from the tone.
