I need to know how I find the name of my router so I can connect to it with my kindle to download books.   Who would know?

What kind of router is it? You *should* be able to find the information by logging into the router at 192.168.1.1 - tech support should be able to walk you through this step-by-step if that would be easier for you.

There might also be a sticker on your router that lists your SSID, which is your network name.
