I just received the new Actiontec MI424WR Rev. I (the Wireless-N capable router).
I want to try and use my old Actiontec router (Rev. C) a parallel network for Wireless-G devices, so my new router can be dedicated to only Wireless-N connections.
I'm having a lot of trouble getting the IP address for the G router to change so I can create this setup.
My physical set up has an ethernet going from the N router LAN port into the G router WAN port. So far, the G router has not been able to connect to the internet through this setup.
Does anyone know how I can make this setup possible? I just spent 90 minutes with Verizon tech support and we were unable to figure out how to make this setup work.
I point to http://www.dslreports.com/faq/12506
which addresses your issue.
I've got the same setup, it's LAN to LAN, WAN.
