Does anyone know what brand and type of wireless 802.11 n router I can purchase to work on my FIOS.  I would like this to be a direct replacement for the Verizon router

Do you have Fios TV?

Is the connection into your Verizon Router COAX (cable wire) or Ethernet?

Coax direct from the OTB.

The issue with doing a direct replacement of the VZ router is any replacement router must have a coax connection.  I'm not sure what other brand of wireless N routers on the market today have a COAX connection for the WAN connection.

You may want to consider getting a wireless N router or Access Point and keep the VZ provided router and disable the Wireless on the VZ router.
