I own my wcb6200, however i purchased it directly from Actiontec, late 2015, when it got released. I got it because my home is not wired with Cat5 for data, however, i have coaxial in every room.
i've subscribed to Verizon's FIOS Gigabit, but haven't seen my wireless screaming as fast as it should be.
The firmware my device runs is 1.1.10.20. I am looking to get the official firmware that runs optimal for my FIOS service. Anyone know how to obtain that version?

Wireless is not guaranteed speeds.
the best you can hope for is 25%-50% under optimal conditions. And it also depends on the device and it’s wifi radio, the distance, 2.4 Ghz or 5 Ghz
the firmware updates come from the isp. In this case Verizon Fios. However since it’s not part of their official batch of devices it may not update through them. In that case you would need to google to find where it can be obtained.
On my Netgear the firmware is done via my connecting to Netgear servers.
