I have a desktop that has the Verizon DSL installed. I just purchased a new laptop and was wondering how I go about
installing the Verizon on it. Do I need to use the disc that was supplied when I first got the DSL? Any help is greatly
appreciated. Thank you ...

No you do not have to install anything, you do not install DSL on a pc.
You need to connect your laptop to your wireless network

Did Verizon supply you with a D-Link Router or Westell 7500 router? If you just have a Westell 6100 then in order to use Wireless (tagging along with the above post) you will need to pick up an inexpensive but adequite Wireless router from any store or online. If you have the Westell 7500 or D-Link, however, then Verizon gave you a way to connect up another computer through a Wired or Wireless connection. For Wireless, check the bottom of your router for the network name and WEP or WPA2 key. For Wired, just plug it in. That will get you connected up without an issue, no CD or software required.
