Alexa no longer working with fios

I had a power surge earlier reset all my devices since then when i ask alexa to perform any task with fios says its doing it but nothing happens.ran the troubledhhot for alexa voice control.get error message saying we have found some network issues with your voice control set up.please unplug and reconnect your set top box to fix this problem if you continue to have issues call verizon.so i did after talking for 20 min he reset the box nothing we unlinked and relink the box in the app,then he sounded like the tech was talking to someone else then whent silent and i was disconnected. so couldnt fix the prob so hung up on me,can anyone help with this issue ????? yes i rebooted alexa and the router no good
