I have an Actiontec M1424-WR Rev. F and an Actiontek WCB3000N lying around, and before I throw them out just looking to see if there is any use for them. I had at one point used the WCB as a network extender but it ended up causing conflicts on my network so I took it off. Just curious before I toss these devices.
Theoretically, you could use them as dumb "switches" since the MoCA version is 1.1/1.0 ( i mean it works for that rating, but only if you are happy with it).
For conflicts, here is one post talking about how to get it to work - https://forums.verizon.com/t5/Fios-Internet/How-to-get-Actiontec-WCB3000N-to-extend-network-instead-...
Hope this helps
