Got 1Gbps FIOS 9 days ago and pretty good so far.
I can certainly access the Quantum router at 192.168.1.1. I'm somewhat used to those settings from my 14 years with DSL and from the Quantum's user manual and this forum.
But is there any reason to access the ONT, and how would I do that?
Thanks.

Don't believe users have access to ONT.
It is part of FIOS network. They control settings in it.
Like turning off/on TV service. Or setting Internet to be via coax or ethernet.
Good point to start your research for a lot of your questions.

Tom - thanks for those links.
But we are not doing TV, and my Q is a bit more specific. (We are doing only internet and one FIOS Digital Voice line.)
I can access the Quantum router and all its settings via 192.168.1.1 and my password.
However, might there be anything interesting to access the ONT itself? If so, how does one do that?
Thanks.
