BBU Indicator Lights, Internet

No internet. I went to BBU and unplugged it. Unplugged battery. Plugged battery back in. pressed and held Alarm Silence for 15 seconds and plugged BBU back in. Status light came on along with Battery Power light.

I went to router and unplugged it for 5 seconds and them plugged it back in. The red globe indicator light, became white/green and flashed for a few minutes. In the the end it went back to solid red.

The BBU lndicator lights are all off.

What to do, what to do?

Call 1-800-VERIZON 

say tech support. They should be able to assist you.

Should also check lights on inside of ONT.

Tech support came for $50 and changed out the BBU.

Unplugging the BBU and that sort of thing won't help you here as it sounds like an internet outage. Check for internet status in your area. 

The BBU is exactly what it sounds like, a battery backup unit, you don't have to unplug it and plug it back in like you do the modem.

It wasn’t an internet outage. As the original poster stated Verizon came out and changed the BBU for $50. Nothing to do with the internet.
