I have Dsl service and every time there is a rain storm I lose connection. I have a dedicated line for the Dsl. Every time there is a storm or rain, the Internet goes out. Does anyone have an idea what's going on? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Likely some exposed elements on Verizon's end. You'll want to get them out to run some line checks and repair it, preferably on a rainy day during rainy season. Don't let them turn the speed down what so ever, it's not a fix for this.
