This morning my battery backup's red light went on. And I began to hear loud beeps. I received messages from Fios telling me that my backup battery needed to be replaced. Verizon support informed me how I could stop the beeping. I followed the instructions but could not stop the beeping. Support also informed me that the beeps would be one minute apart but my beeps were 15 minutes apart. Any suggestions?
Call Verizon and tell them you don't want to pay for a new battery. And to send out a tech to update the BBU and install a new Power Adapter.
The Power Adapter has no battery and will not beep. This is Verizon equipment so there will be no charge for the visit.
