CANNOT CANCEL FIOS

I cannot cancel my service no matter how hard I try. I am moving to an area where Fios is not avaiolable; I would have happily brought the service with me if I could. I presented to a Fios store Saturday and was told that I can only cancel over the phone 9am-5pm. Anytime I call the number, its over an hour wait. How am I supposed to wait an hour during 9am-5pm on a weekday?????? I have called everyday this week. 

I scheduled a call from Verizon today at 9:15am. Guess what? No call.

I am so angry right now that I can hardly breathe. Why tf is this so difficult!?!?!?!?!
