Cancelled service- still automatically charging my credit card

I was a Verizon DSL customer I cancelled my service when I moved. In looking at my credit card statement, I see that I've been charged for the service that I cancelled long ago. I gave a toddler, so spending long stretches on hold on the phone is not an option for me. Please help, as this is very frustrating.

A lot of time has passed since your case was escalated, and your earlier posts were over a weekend, and so still within the two business-day window for a response from the eCenter.  Were you ever contacted?
