Cancelling Service


I've attempted to contact someone within the Retention Department now, and I haven't been able to get a hold of someone for an hour in total. (Estimated wait time was around 8 minutes.) The chat has also left me waiting for close to a half-hour. I'd like to cancel my service on a specified date. Please let me know if there's a direct number that I can call, since I cannot get a hold of anyone.

If phone and regular chat aren't working for you, I suggest reaching out to Verizon's social media support team.  They can be reached by tweeting @Verizonsupport.  I think they have a FaceBook page, too.  Or, you can post over at  All go to the same Verizon team.
