Catalina 10.5 Self-Assigned IP Wi-Fi

Please Help! Tried a few ways to fix issue and none have worked. Tried Renewing DHCP Lease and tried to check settings but all are good. I tried making a new location for my WiFi and did not work. I tried to delete certain folders in my Macintosh HD under Library>Preferences > System Configuration> and then delete airport preferences and network interface. All the help I can get would be greatly appreciated. I am stumped

Okay. What router? Are you able to try connecting the iMac to Ethernet to see if you are able to get an IP address?

What are you using for a router and a modem? Did this just start happening out of the blue, or did it happen after a macOS update?

It happened out of the blue, I have been using the same router on this iMac for at least an year. I haven’t updated the IOS because of my programs.
