I am wondering who I should talk to about replacing the chargeable battery in the white main box?? It took us a month to figure out what was beeping!
Who is responsible for replacing it? I don't remember being told to expect to have to replace it. Can the box be reset??

Its the customers responsibility. Just like the battery in your car.
Its only needed to back up power for phone service.
So if you don't have phone service or don't care if it is out when power is out, it can be disconnected. Google FiOS battery backup for details on replacing or disconnecting.
