For the life of me my E3200 will not maintain its wifi connection to the G3100 router. I have a TP-Link wifi extender that has been working well for years. I only got the Verizon one to to simply network continuity. I know wireless is the last option but I have no way to use coax or ethernet connection. Tired of the white yellow, white yellow routine. I have done the reset , repairing thing till I can do it with my eyes close. Also why does it take 24 hours for the update to complete
Is it possible to move the extender closer to the router while still maintaining the desired coverage?
The weaker the signal that the extender sees, the more likely connections will be dropped and the longer it will take updates to complete.
I agree with Dexman. You should move the Extender closer to the G3100.
