i am in NY, since last week my high speed(by magnitude slower than advertized) DSL connection is very slow and dropping every 15-20 min, need to reset modem(Westell7500) to factory defaults(power down doesnt help)
if this is not fixed in timely manner i see only one solution: switch back to Time Warner Cable, Verizon internet is a joke

Visit http://192.168.1.1/ when your Internet is slow and/or is down. Do not reset the modem, and while at that address, go to System Monitoring, Advanced Statistics and choose Transceiver Statistics. Post up the contents of that page. Additionally, post up the contents of the "All" log, which you can find in the Advanced Statistics section as well under System Logging. This will let us see at least if there are any line troubles.
