Connectivity Problem

I'm having problems with connecting certian web pages. Some of the web pages load like google based sites, wikipedia, and xkcd. However most web sites don't work. I've tried pinging the sites that don't work and all packets are lost. After running an iptrace I wasn't able to find any consistantcy with the failiures. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
