Anyone know what it will cost to have a FIOS tech come to my house and remove the battery backup? It's hardwired into my power, so I don't want to mess with it myself. Also, is there a way I can schedule a service visit online, rather than waiting on hold for more hours?
TIA

Costs vary so no one here will know. We are customers. This thread may answer some questions https://www.dslreports.com/forum/r31339112-BBU-replacement-charge

Not sure what you mean hardwired?
All of the BBUs have plugs.
As does the battery.
You can just remove the battery and recycle.
BTW, why do you want it removed?
