DSL Modem problems installing

Hello verizon just emailed me a confirmation that my service was ready. So i try to hook up my ethernet cable and it did nothing.My modems just blinking green on the DSL sign and no lights on the Data and internet. I have the Westell 6100G.

Double check to make sure that the phone jack you are plugging the modem into is NOT filtered (does not have a filter attached to it before the modem), and also make sure the phone jack that the modem is connected to works. Failing that, you should locate your NID and see if you can get the modem to connect (solid DSL light) at the NID. Failing that, Verizon will need to ensure you're actually connected on their end.
