I ordered the enhanced DSL plan on 3/3. Installation was on 3/22...tech came to my home and installed the modem/router and a new wall jack. He couldn’t understand why the internet didn’t automatically connect. Told me to wait 2hrs, gave me his cell number, and told me to call him if it still wasn’t up & running by then. It wasn’t. I called and left him a msg with no response from him. I’ve called Verizon pretty much everyday since then, sometimes multiple times a day. I have been bounced around from dept to dept while said depts play the blame game with each other. They finally discovered that the internet signal is going to my AT&T cell phone number...it should NEVER have been set to do so. Now it’s been 7 days since my install date...still no service...and told *maybe* it’ll be fixed by Friday (3/30). I’m an online student working on my bachelors degree in business. My 6yr old has homework he needs to access online. And my 2yr old is disabled (he has Down Syndrome), and I need to stay in touch with his specialists via email. I’ve used up and ran into overages on my cell data twice already during this crap. I’m so disgusted and frustrated.
This issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent.
Still waiting on DSL activation since 3/22. Was told it’d be fixed on last Friday. It wasn’t of course. Was then told it’d be fixed by yesterday...guess what? It wasn’t. Now it’s being handled by the billing office...somehow internet service was being sent to my cell phone instead of my landline. (**bleep**?!) just so **bleep** FED UP!! Like seriously ... how long can it possibly take to switch out service phone numbers?! I’m expecting calls today with status updates. Needless to say, I’m not getting my hopes up. So sick of, your prob has been escalated...so what?! Not like anything gets resolved. I mean TWO WEEKS?! Two weeks since installation and NEVER had internet?! Cmon Verizon. Get your crap together.
My question would be, did you mark this post as “SOLVED” or was it done by another?
I accidentally hit the little check mark on my phone which marked it as solved. I don’t know how to undo it now. It is most definitely not solved though.

I think you click on the little wheel in the upper right corner of the post that shows solved. (Green) then uncheck solved.
I believe the old way was to ask the moderator to set it back as unsolved.

This is absolutely RIDICULOUS already!! I am so sick of the run-around and no one fixing the issue. How hard can it be?!?
If it has only been 2 weeks simply call up and cancel service.
you may get faster service on your way out, versus on your way in.
look into satellite internet like blue sky or even cable if available. Just google what is available in your area.
