I've upgraded my plan to the 7.1mb and during peak hours I've been experiencing slow dsl speeds from around 7pm-12am. My speeds fluctuates between 2-3mb download speed, while the upload speed is unaffected. During morning, and afternoon my speed is solid at 6.5mb download. I never had this issue when I was on my old 3mb plan.
I have called verizon tech support, but that was pointless and waste of time. Wasted one hour on the phone, with the lvl 1 tech who was trying to put the blame on my computer. Anyways here is my stats, and speed test. I have 7500 modem.
This is 100%, congestion on the server during peak, can someone please help resolve this issue so they move me to non congested server. Thank you.

Visit http://www.giganews.com/line_info.html and post up the Traceroute the page shows, if you wish. Be aware that the final hop (bottom-most line of the trace) might contain a hop with your IP address in it. Remove that line. What I'm looking for is a line that mentions "ERX" in it's name towards the end. If for some reason the trace does not complete (two lines full of Stars), keep the trace route intact.
