An elderly friend has had her kids raid her house and give her a hand-me-down computer to replace her older computer. They should have left well enough alone. The computer is an old IBM computer and had a "bogus" XP PRO OS installed. She has a DSL Westell 6100 modem hooked up to the computer which it recognizes, but RNDIS\Ethernet driver is not installed. I replaced the bogus OS with a legal one hoping that the problem would get resolved, but no such luck. I'm looking for driver USB\VID_06A9&PID_000B\4264715A0E91. I've been going through a number of sites to down load the correct driver but there are such a large number to pick from and I'm a little apprehensive in selecting one. Any suggestions?

The westell doesn't have drivers that you would download, they come included with the firmware. You may need the standard NIC drivers of the OS. If you get the IBM Model number, we can look up what driver you need.
